DIGI Fest · Event identity
A bold identity for a showcase of digital creators.
DIGI Fest is the University of Houston's Digital Media Senior Portfolio Showcase, where graduating seniors present their work to students, faculty and industry guests. I designed its identity and the full set of event materials: a poster, an announcement card, an ID badge and a bi-fold brochure about the program.
Background
A senior showcase that needed to feel like an event.
The brief asked for a name, a headline lockup and print pieces that invite students, faculty and employers to see the seniors' portfolios and give them feedback, all within University of Houston branding.
How might we make a student showcase look as bold and technical as the work inside it?
01 · Exploration
Starting bright, landing bold.
An early direction played with bright color blocks. It felt fun, but not like digital media, so I pushed toward a darker, sharper system closer to UH's own colors.
02 · The system
One diagonal holds everything together.

03 · Poster
The poster that sets the tone.
The name fills the page, the date and time ride the diagonal, and the details stay small so the headline does the shouting.
04 · Announcement card
Front to catch the eye, back to give the details.
05 · ID badge
Worn by every senior presenting.
The same split lockup, turned vertical so presenters are easy to spot in the room.
06 · Bi-fold brochure
The story of the program, in your hands.
