Becoming Fully Funded · Personal brand
A brand about building the capacity to say yes.
Becoming Fully Funded is Ty Timlet's personal brand. She documents changing careers, rebuilding her finances and preparing for graduate school, and shares a blueprint for funding your next chapter. Her TikTok, @irlwithty, has 24.3K followers. Her content needed more structure, so she started this series to build from. I designed the identity and the social system that carries her voice across TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Background
Money is only one form of capacity.
Ty noticed that money wasn't the only thing holding people back. Some lacked confidence, some direction, some the health or time to act. Her videos covered all of it, but without a clear structure. She needed a series, and a brand, that could talk about money without feeling like a finance lecture.
How might we make a brand about money feel honest, warm and hopeful?
01 · The idea
Capacity, not just cash.
- Brand ideaSay yes to your next chapterMoney, confidence, direction, health and time: every post helps build the capacity to say yes.
- VoiceA friend, not a lectureCasual, honest and encouraging.
- ProofReal numbers, shared openlyIncome, spending and goals, charted.
- ColorGreen for trust, lime for progressLilac and blue keep it light.
- TextureHandmade on purposePaper, grids, doodles and squiggles.
- SystemOne look on every channelVideo titles, posts, Stories and LinkedIn share the same parts.

02 · Identity
A title for every video.
A handwritten "Fully" over a bold "Funded" opens every video, right on screen. The short BFF mark works where space is tight: highlights, avatars and watermarks.

03 · Instagram
Real numbers make the brand trustworthy.
Spending, income, goals and a capacity score, charted in the brand colors so hard topics feel approachable. Swipe through the posts.

04 · Carousel series
"Girl, you have $500."
An interactive budgeting carousel: everything is due, so what comes first? Real moments from her life make the numbers feel personal.

05 · Her feed
From life updates to a series.
Before, her feed was lifestyle videos with nothing tying them together. After, her life and her numbers sit side by side in one recognizable look, with quotes and prompts in between:

06 · LinkedIn
The same voice, dressed for work.
Her banner and headline lead with the brand: "Creating the resources, freedom and capacity to live well and become more."

07 · Built to come back to
A brand for a monthly practice.
Her Fully Funded Blueprint isn't meant to be finished, it's meant to be revisited. The identity had to work every month, for every step.
- Capacity audit
- Tiny experiment
- New opportunity
- Monthly reset
- 90-day blueprint
08 · On TikTok
A series gave her content something to build on.
Becoming Fully Funded gave her videos a name, a look and recurring formats like the Fully Funded Report. Her video on career shifts is the biggest so far.
